Bishop John T. Kidd Council 4924 may award up to
Two (2) $1,000 Bursaries annually. The Bursaries will be awarded by a
Selection Committee subject to the following conditions.
1. The applicant must be the Child or Grandchild of a member in good standing of Bishop John T. Kidd Council 4924.
2. The applicant must be a practicing Catholic.
3. The applicant must be accepted in the first year of a recognized post-secondary institution and continue in regular attendance for the school year.
4. The decision of the Bursary Committee shall be based on:
(a) Parish/Community Involvement
(b) Leadership Abilities
(c) Academic Proficiency
(d) Financial Need
5. Power of the Bursary Committee: The decisions of the Committee in making award and all decisions pertaining to the Bursary Fund and the Administration thereof shall be final.
6. The Award shall not be paid until the successful applicant is enrolled and attending the recognized post- secondary institution of his or her choice.
7. All Completed applications must be received in a sealed envelope addressed to the Bursary Committee on or before July 10 and the successful applicants will be notified by the Grand Knight
